Winter Wonderland Transformation
Pastiche transformed a traditional hotel function room at The Belfry into a spectacular Winter Wonderland Christmas Party, combining immersive white draping, sparkling Starcloth, winter-themed Lighting and elegant Table Decorations.
The event showcased Pastiche's expertise in Creative Event Design, Theming, Technical Production and Event Management, turning an ordinary space into a magical festive environment.
The Client Brief
Pastiche was commissioned to create a spectacular Winter Wonderland Christmas Party at The Belfry Hotel in Sutton Coldfield, transforming the existing function room into an elegant festive setting.
The brief was to create a magical atmosphere for approximately 300 Guests, combining immersive Christmas Theming with professional Entertainment and Event Production.
Working with the existing room layout, Pastiche developed a creative concept that would completely change the appearance and atmosphere of the space.
The challenge was to transform a conventional hotel function room into a visually striking Winter Wonderland while accommodating dining, Live Entertainment, speeches and an evening celebration.
The Room Transformation
One of the most impressive elements of the project was the complete visual transformation of the function room.
Pastiche incorporated approximately 80 metres of White Draping and illuminated Starcloth to cover the existing walls, creating a sparkling winter backdrop throughout the venue. White Ceiling Swags extended across the room, softening the existing architecture and creating an elegant, immersive environment.
Blue and White Lighting, decorative Uplighting and Snowflake Projections enhanced the atmosphere, bringing the Winter Wonderland theme to life. The transformation demonstrated how Creative Theming and professional Event Production can completely change the appearance of an existing venue without altering its permanent structure.
Winter Theming & Decorations
Pastiche developed a coordinated Winter Wonderland design that extended from the overall room presentation through to the individual dining tables. Thirty White Winter Branch Centrepieces provided striking decorative features, complemented by sparkling ornaments and carefully positioned Lighting.
Winter Wonderland Backdrops added further depth to the themed environment, while illuminated Starcloth and White Draping created a cohesive visual setting. The combination of elegant Table Decorations, atmospheric Lighting and extensive room Theming transformed the space into a magical setting for the Christmas celebration.
Every decorative element was designed to complement the overall Winter Wonderland concept, creating a consistent experience throughout the venue.
Live Entertainment
The Winter Wonderland concept included a varied programme of Live Entertainment designed to complement the festive atmosphere. Two Winter Wonderland Hostesses welcomed Guests during the Pre-Dinner Drinks Reception, while a Close-Up Magician entertained with interactive magic.
A professional Violinist provided elegant musical entertainment as Guests entered the transformed room and performed again during dinner. The entertainment programme also featured a spectacular 30-minute Magic and Illusion Show starring Enigma the Illusionist, accompanied by two Dancers and a Lollipop Aerialist.
The combination of close-up entertainment, live music, aerial performance and theatrical illusion created a varied programme designed to complement the immersive Winter Wonderland setting.
Lighting & Technical Production
Alongside the extensive Theming, Pastiche developed a professional Technical Production package to support the entertainment and evening celebrations. The production included a 16ft x 16ft White LED Dancefloor, creating an illuminated focal point for Guests to enjoy later in the evening.
Blue and White Lighting, Snowflake Projections and decorative Uplighting enhanced the winter atmosphere throughout the room. A Projector and Screen were incorporated into the technical arrangements to display speeches and provide visibility of the live performances.
Pastiche also coordinated the technical equipment, production installation and supporting Technicians, bringing together the visual and entertainment requirements within one carefully planned event.
Event Management & Results
Pastiche coordinated the Winter Wonderland Theming, Entertainment and Technical Production, bringing together the different elements required to transform the hotel function room. The project involved extensive room draping, decorative Lighting, Winter Centrepieces, Live Entertainment, a Magic and Illusion Show and a professional LED Dancefloor.
