The Client Brief & Venue Planning
The objective was to create an extraordinary Corporate Christmas Party that would recognise and reward employees for their hard work throughout the year. Inspired by the excitement, glamour and theatrical spectacle of The Greatest Showman, the client wanted an immersive experience that would go far beyond a traditional festive celebration.
Pastiche visited the client's chosen venue to assess the available space, understand the event requirements and discuss the creative vision. Our team considered how the different Entertainment and Theming elements could work within the venue, developing a coordinated approach that would bring the concept to life.
The challenge was to create a complete theatrical experience combining Pre-Dinner Entertainment, a spectacular Main Show and immersive Circus Theming within one cohesive event.
Pre-Dinner Entertainment
Pastiche created an exciting arrival experience, introducing guests to the theatrical atmosphere of The Greatest Showman before the main celebration began.
The Pre-Dinner Drinks Reception featured two Fire Performers, two Stilt Walkers, a Bubble Performer and a Lollipop Aerialist, providing a striking combination of visual entertainment and guest interaction.
The Fire Performers created moments of drama and spectacle, while the Stilt Walkers brought larger-than-life characters into the reception area. The Bubble Performer added an imaginative visual element, while the Lollipop Aerialist provided an elegant aerial performance.
Together, these acts created a memorable welcome, immediately establishing the excitement and theatrical atmosphere of the evening.
The Greatest Showman Production
Pastiche created a fully choreographed and rehearsed Greatest Showman-inspired production, carefully structured around the evening's celebrations.
Once all Guests were seated, the event opened with a spectacular theatrical introduction performed to the soundtrack This Is The Greatest Show, setting the atmosphere for the evening ahead.
Following dinner, Guests enjoyed a 25-minute Main Show featuring three professional Singers, including a male Greatest Showman performer and two female Vocalists, supported by six Dancers and a Ringmaster.
The production also featured an Illusionist and an extensive variety of specialist Circus Performers, combining Live Vocals, Dance, Illusion and theatrical spectacle. Pastiche managed the creative development, choreography, rehearsals and staging of both performance segments, ensuring a cohesive entertainment experience throughout the evening.
Circus Acts & Audience Interaction
The Main Show featured an extensive variety of professional Circus Acts, bringing energy, excitement and visual spectacle to the production. Performances included two Silk Aerialists, a Tumbler, Unicyclist, Cyr Wheel Artist, Duo Juggling Act and Duo Hand Balancing Act. Specialist illuminated entertainment added another dimension, featuring a Pixel Cube Performer, Pixel Hula Hooper and Pixel Poi and Fans.
Alongside the professional performances, Pastiche introduced an interactive Circus Skills challenge, inviting audience members onto the stage to try different skills and earn points for their teams. This element brought employees directly into the entertainment, creating moments of participation, friendly competition and shared enjoyment.
The combination of professional Circus Entertainment and audience interaction ensured that the experience was both visually spectacular and engaging for guests.
Immersive Circus Theming
Pastiche supplied an extensive collection of Circus Theming to transform the venue into a visually striking Greatest Showman-inspired environment. A Circus Drape Entrance welcomed guests, while Circus Cannons, illuminated Circus Letters, decorative Plinths and Uplighters helped establish the theatrical atmosphere.
Large-scale animal props included an eight-foot Giraffe, Baby Giraffe, Large Elephant, Baby Elephant, Standing Lion and Carousel Horse, creating eye-catching features throughout the event space.
A collection of Circus Image Panels featuring Clowns, Acrobats and classic Circus Acts completed the visual presentation, bringing colour, character and theatrical detail to the surroundings. By combining immersive Theming with professional Live Entertainment, Pastiche created a cohesive event environment that reflected the excitement and spectacle of the overall production.
Event Management & Results
Pastiche managed the complete Entertainment and Theming Production, from the initial venue visit and creative planning through to rehearsals, performer coordination and on-the-day Event Management.
Our team coordinated the Pre-Dinner Entertainment, the spectacular opening performance, the 25-minute After-Dinner Show, specialist Circus Acts, audience participation and extensive Theming, supported by the necessary Production Crew and Event Management staff.
